South West: Gaillac
Domaine de Gineste
Gaillac is one of the oldest region of production in France, some almost
unknown varietals are cultivated there such as the “Len de lel”
which means in old Occitan far from the eye, or the Mauzac, or the Braucol or
Fer servadou.
Domaine de Gineste owns 23 hectares and produces one of the top five (I would
even be ready to say top three) Gaillac around.
