Loire Valley: Muscadet Sèvre & Maine sur Lie
Domaine Du Fay D’Homme
Muscadet uses a varietal originally from burgundy called “melon”,
the area is situated by the town of Nantes. the first time I tasted Vincent
Caillé’s Muscadet I was very impressed. At last a Muscadet that
tasted like wine!

need to be a dreamer » Vincent Caillé

This Clos from Vincent Caillé is sweeter than le fay d’homme. A beautiful wine, quite complex. |

Very complex nose, fresh highly sophisticated, Vinified and matured in oak barrels. This “Muscadet” is often believed during blind tasting to come from the better parts of burgundy. |
