Rocca dei Venti
Ricardo has created Rocca dei Venti in 1999 with the exclusive aim of using
the ancient varietal Morellino od Scansano to make his wine. The wine is made
from local vines and vineyard scattered across the Sansano territory. The first
harvest, and the first commendation, was obtained in 2001.
"Our aim is to protect and help the the Morellino to be considered
again part of Tuscany's heritage."
MORELLINO |

|
Spicy, makes me think of a Mourvedre, typical of varietal in line of sight with the sea. Made at an altitude of 350m this intense and fruity young wine is recommended to be drunk with wild boar (actually one crossed the road in front of me on my way to Rocca dei Venti). |

SANGIOVESE |

Clean, easy Sangiovese made to be drunk among friends, fruity well colored it is a wine whose quality is way beyond its price. |
